The Challenge

The Microsoft House & Viaduct Plaza Redevelopment project posed several challenges that required the expertise of Green Way. The primary task was a complete strip out from the Basement to Level 3, including the vehicle ramp and landscape area. This involved working in close proximity to live offices, necessitating exceptional care to minimise disruption and ensure safety. The client needed Green Way to manage these complex demolition tasks while achieving high standards of environmental compliance and site safety.

The Project

Green Way Limited executed a meticulous and comprehensive strip out and demolition plan for the Microsoft House & Viaduct Plaza Redevelopment project. The initial phase involved internal soft strip out works from Level 3 to the basement, ensuring that all non-structural elements were safely removed. Following the completion of the soft strip out, the team faced the technically challenging task of demolishing the concrete vehicle ramp connecting the basement to Level 2. Simultaneously, the project included the removal of all outside landscapes such as surface paving, pebble surfaces, stairs, light poles, and balustrades. Throughout the project, extensive measures were taken to avoid accidents or issues, particularly with the risky vehicle ramp demolition. The project continued without any disruptions to the live offices and adhered to high safety and environmental standards.

The technically challenging demolition, including the vehicle ramp, was completed smoothly without any accidents or issues. The project was delivered within the planned timeframe, resulting in high customer satisfaction. The client expressed positive feedback regarding the quality and efficiency of the work performed by Green Way Limited. This project underscored Green Way’s ability to manage complex demolition tasks in sensitive environments while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
